The state company administers the State Forests, executing it assigned functions, organizes the preparation of forest propagating material, the cultivation of seedlings, their realization and transportation, ensuring high-quality and timely restoration and establishment of forests. One of the most important stages of preserving the quality of plantations is their preparation for transportation and transplanting, during which it is necessary to protect the root system from mechanical damage and loosening of the soil. Jute fabric is widely used for this purpose, as it allows to stabilize the root ball, maintain moisture and at the same time does not prevent for natural plant development. Considering the large quantities of saplings grown in different VMU nurseries and their constant movement between the places of cultivation, storage and sale, the need for jute fabric is constant and significant, therefore it is expedient conclude a long-term supply contract, which allows to ensure uninterrupted supply of this material.
