Description:
The object of the purchase is the collection and transportation of kitchen food and biodegradable waste to their processing sites in the territory of the municipality of Telšiai district (hereinafter referred to as the Services). The place of service provision is Telšiai district municipality. Requirements for Services are presented in the procurement technical specification and specification annexes. The expected period of service provision is 1 year, with the possibility of extension for another 1 year. Pursuant to Article 60, Part 3 of the Law on Public Procurement of the Republic of Lithuania, it is determined the deadline for submission of proposals has been shortened, since the procurement is being carried out to ensure the uninterrupted provision of waste collection and transportation services after the expiration of the currently valid contracts in 2026. February 7 and 2026 March 23 Considering the new due to the preparation period set for the service provider and the duration of the public procurement procedures, it is not possible to meet the usual deadline for submission of proposals, therefore the deadline is shortened in case of properly justified urgency.
