Personal assistance - individual assistance provided by a personal assistant to persons with disabilities to carry out work and activities that they cannot do independently due to their disability and which are necessary to achieve... Personal assistance - personal assistance for persons with disabilities assistance provided by an assistant to carry out work and activities that he cannot do independently due to his disability and which are necessary in order to live independently and function in all areas of life. The recipients of the services are residents of the city of Panevėžys with disabilities, for whom the level of disability or 55 percent or lower working capacity level or special needs level has been determined in accordance with the procedure established by the Law on the Basics of Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Preliminary number of recipients of Personal Assistance in 1 (one) month there are about 30 persons. The preliminary number of hours of Personal Assistance during the term of the contract is 29,269 hours.
