French technology company Sagemcom Energy and Telecom has been awarded a €48.2 million contract by UAB Ignitis grupės paslaugų centras, part of Lithuania’s state-controlled energy group Ignitis, to deliver smart electricity meters, connectivity, and development services. The award, published in the Official Journal of the European Union (Notice No. 650336-2025), marks a significant step in Lithuania’s nationwide smart grid modernization program.
